Fort Lewis College NCAA Division II, Durango Colorado, is ranked 5th in the country beginning the 2011/2012 basketball season. Several Arizona Elite girls are impact players. Alex Easterbrook, starting guard, and senior Stephanie Beeman contribute on both ends of the floor for the Skyhawks. They won their season opener last weekend against Eastern New Mexico on the road. Alex had 4 assists and Stephanie had 7 points, 2 boards and 2 assists. Fort Lewis is part of the RMAC and has a legitimate shot at the National title.
